Technical information sheet

Area of application

For wallpapering light to heavy paper wallpapers on plaster, concrete, plaster, plasterboard, etc.

Preparation

The substrate must be dry, smooth, clean, sound and free of separating agents. Remove all coats of distemper, wallpaper residue and loose paint. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with PUFAS Deep Penetrating Primer LF. Water-soluble impurities in the substrate that could penetrate during wallpapering should be isolated with PUFAS Stain Remover.

Processing

Stir the contents of the pack into clean, cold water and continue stirring for a short time. Stir well again after 30 minutes. Paste the cut lengths of wallpaper together and, after sufficient soaking time, apply butt joints. For heavy wallpapers, weakly absorbent substrates and to increase moisture resistance, add a 750 ml can of PUFAS Latex Binder or 750 g PUFAS Wallcovering Adhesive to 3 - 4 litres of ready-mixed paste. In all cases, follow the wallpaper manufacturer's instructions. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Mixing ratio for 500 g packet: Pre-paste: Mix 1:25 = 12.5 litres of water = approx. 70 m² Light paper wallpapers: Mix 1:20 = 10 litres of water = 50-60 m² Rough wallpaper: Mix 1:15 = 7.5 litres of water = 35-40 m² Heavy paper wallpapers: Mix 1:10 - 1:12 = 5-6 litres of water = 25-30 m² Mixing ratio for 1 kg packet: Pre-paste: Mix 1:25 = 25 litres of water = approx. 140 m² light paper wallpapers: 1:20 = 20 litres of water = 100-120 m² woodchip wallpaper: 1:15 = 15 litres of water = 70-80 m² heavy paper wallpapers: 1:10 - 1:12 = 10-12 litres of water = 50-60 m²
