Area of application
Fixation for PVC, CV floor coverings and carpets. Secure hold without bubbles, can be removed later, ideal for rented flats, underfloor heating and indoor chair castors.
Preparation
Can be used on cement screed, tiles, PVC coverings, V100 chipboard, waterproof sealed parquet and similar moisture-resistant substrates. The substrate must be clean, permanently dry, level, load-bearing and evenly absorbent and free of dust and release agents. For rough or uneven substrates, we recommend levelling with floor levelling compound. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sandy and porous substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. The floor covering to be fixed must be conditioned, levelled and relaxed.
Processing
Lay out the floor covering, cut roughly to size and fold back halfway. Apply the fixative to the substrate using a short-pile roller or a notched trowel (toothing A2). After allowing the required flash-off time, lay the covering and press down evenly. For absorbent substrates or vapour-permeable coverings, the flash-off time is approx. 15 minutes; when laying impermeable coverings (e.g. PVC) on non-absorbent substrates, a flash-off time of at least 30 minutes must be observed. Fix the second half of the floor covering in the same way. Weigh down edges and joints if necessary. Removing the covering: Once the covering has been removed, the fixing residues can be removed with water and baufan wallpaper stripper. Leave the solution to work for approx. 15 minutes, remove the residue with a plastic scraper and rinse thoroughly with water.

Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least 48 months from date of manufacture (see batch label).
Notes
Processing temperature: +10 °C to +30 °C for material, circulating air and substrate The installation guidelines of the flooring manufacturer must be observed. Remove fixing residues immediately with water. Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking during processing. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter the sewage system, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling.
