Area of application
Wallpaper paste for paper, heavy wallpapers and non-woven wallpapers. Strong adhesive, economical, odourless and low-dust for clean results.
Preparation
For optimum adhesion, the substrate must be dry, stable and free of dust and grease. Remove old, poorly adhering wallpaper and loose coats of paint with baufan wallpaper stripper. Repair cracks and holes. Pre-treat highly absorbent substrates with baufan Deep Penetrating Primer LF.
Processing
Add baufan Universal Wallpaper Adhesive quickly and rapidly to cold, clean water while stirring vigorously and continue stirring for a short time. (Depending on the wallpaper: 5 litres for heavy wallpapers, 7.5 litres for light wallpapers) After 5 minutes, stir again vigorously. Paste the wallpapers evenly and lay them together. After sufficient soaking time, apply butt joints. For non-woven wallpapers, it is sufficient to apply the paste to the wall with a roller and then apply the wallpaper directly from the roll. The instructions of the wallpaper manufacturer must be followed. Dab off any paste residue with a clean, damp cloth. Clean tools with water after use. Mixing ratio: Pre-pasting: Mix 1:40 = 10 litres of water = 50-55 m² Heavy wallpapers and non-woven wallpapers: Mix 1:20 = 5 litres of water = 25-30 m² Paper wallpapers: Mix 1:30 = 7.5 litres of water = 35-40 m²
