Area of application
For quickly filling and smoothing cracks, holes, joints, slits and damaged edges on windows, doors, steps, furniture and other wooden objects.
Preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, level, sound, absorbent and free of release agents. Substrates that cannot be consolidated or do not adhere sufficiently must be completely removed. If in doubt, carry out a test application.
Processing
Stir well before use. Apply with a spatula, trowel, etc. The filler hardens without cracking up to a layer thickness of 5 mm. For thicker coats, apply several coats after the previous coat has dried. Clean tools with water immediately after use. After drying, the wood putty can be easily machined (sanded, drilled) and treated with stains and paints. We recommend sanding the surface slightly before staining. Drying time: approx. 24 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); longer drying time under unfavourable conditions. Tinting: With max. 10% suitable universal tinting concentrates.
Consumption
per mm layer thickness → approx. 1.4 kg/m²
Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least until: see batch label.
Notes
Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, ambient air and substrate Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling.
