Area of application
Assembly adhesive for skirting boards, wooden panels, decorative and insulating boards, decorative profiles, tiles and mosaics. For many interior applications.
Preparation
The substrate must be sufficiently absorbent, dry, stable and free of separating agents (grease, dust, etc.). Sanding and chalking substrates must be pre-treated with baufan Tiefgrund LF. If the material to be bonded cannot absorb moisture, the substrate must be absorbent.
Processing
Knead the tube well before use. Apply baufan assembly adhesive in dots or strips to the parts to be assembled and press down firmly. Heavy parts must be fixed in place until the adhesive has hardened. Remove adhesive residues immediately with clear water. Drying time: approx. 24 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); under unfavourable conditions, the drying time will be longer.
Consumption
depending on substrate and application thickness ► approx. 300 - 500 g/m² Tube content is sufficient for approx. 12-20 running metres.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least 48 months from date of manufacture (see batch label).
Notes
Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, ambient air and substrate Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during processing and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking during use. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling.
