Area of application
Glazing putty made from natural raw materials for single and repair glazing on wooden windows with exposed sealant bevel.
Preparation
The window frame must be clean, dry and free of grease. The rebates must be primed (with acrylic paint or an alkyd resin primer). However, to ensure optimum adhesion of the glazing putty, the primer must not be applied so thickly that it blocks the pores of the wood.
Processing
After kneading, press the glass putty firmly into the rebate and smooth the surface with a putty knife. During the drying time, it is essential to prevent any condensation from penetrating the putty bed. As the putty requires oxygen to set, double windows must not be assembled immediately after glazing. After curing, after 4 - 8 weeks at the latest, the putty must be painted over with weather-resistant elastic paint. Painting over too early can lead to wrinkling. Preliminary tests should always be carried out on acrylic paints. The provisions of the BFS guideline, DIN 18361 and DIN 18545 must be observed.

500 g for approx. 50 - 60 cm
Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, it will keep for at least 24 months from the date of manufacture (see label).
Notes
Processing temperature: at least + 8 °C for material and circulating air Keep out of reach of children. Do not allow to enter the sewage system, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling.
