Ready-to-use, white, all-purpose lightweight filler for interior use. For smoothing plaster, concrete, aerated concrete and masonry, as well as for full-surface filling of plasterboard to surface finishes Q3–Q4. Also ideal for the final finishing of pre-filled plasterboard joints to surface quality Q2, and for joint filling to Q1 on plasterboards with HRAK (Vario) and AK edge profiles, using joint cover strips.
Ready-to-use, all-purpose lightweight filler
light and supple texture
optimal adhesion to the substrate
Very good sanding properties
free from solvents and plasticisers
for surface grades Q1–Q4 in drywall construction (in accordance with Technical Note No. 2 issued by the Plasterboard Industry Group of the Federal Association of the Plaster and Plasterboard Industry e. V.)
Ready-to-use, white, all-purpose lightweight filler for interior surfaces.
Preparation
Suitable for use on all mineral substrates (e.g. concrete, plaster, lime and cement render, brick, etc.), emulsion paints, synthetic resin plasters, as well as on plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard, cement fibreboard and similar drywall boards in accordance with EN 13963. Not suitable for use in wet areas.
Processing
Stir profimur Fill + Finish ready filler thoroughly before use and apply with a finishing trowel. Maximum application thickness: 3 mm for surface finishes Q3–Q4 and for full-surface application.
Once dry, the filled surfaces can be sanded very easily. If the surface is to be wallpapered, it must be primed with profimur Deep Primer LF before the wall covering is applied.
Spray application:
Only airless sprayers approved by the equipment manufacturer for the application of sprayable fillers may be used.
Static pressure: 215 bar; working pressure: 160–180 bar; nozzle size: 029–041; Hose length: max. 15 m.
The filler hardens as it dries – drying time depends on the application thickness, substrate condition and ambient conditions. Do not apply subsequent coats or carry out bonding until the filled surface has dried completely.
Consumption
Approx. 1.1 kg per m² at an application thickness of 1 mm. Determine the exact consumption by carrying out a test application on the surface.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed, childproof and store in a cool but frost-free place.
Notes
When skimming plasterboard, the board manufacturers’ application instructions must be followed. When skimming in accordance with Q1, a joint covering strip must be inserted. Do not apply when the surface and ambient temperatures are below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
