White Undercoat 705

Area of application

A special white-pigmented primer with no textured finish.

Preparation

Suitable for use on all mineral substrates (such as concrete, gypsum, lime and cement plaster), plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard, cement fibreboard and similar drywall panels, as well as emulsion, silicone resin and silicate paints, synthetic resin plasters, non-ferrous metals and many plastics (carry out a test coat on non-ferrous metals and plastics). The substrate must be dry, sound and free from release agents (dust, grease, etc.). Remove loose material, old wallpaper and poorly adhering paint from the substrate. Prime highly absorbent, sandy and chalky substrates with profimur Deep Primer LF. Repair cracks, holes and uneven areas indoors using a suitable profimur filler.

Processing

Stir profimur white primer thoroughly before use and apply with a paintbrush, roller or a suitable spray gun. Ready for topcoating after approx. 6 hours (depending on the absorbency of the substrate, temperature and humidity – drying time may be longer under unfavourable environmental conditions).

Tinting:
profimur White Primer can be tinted with a maximum of 5% tinting concentrate. The addition of solid-colour paints and tinting paints is possible, but may result in a change to the product’s properties.

Consumption

Approx. 100–130 ml/m² per coat – depending on the substrate and application method. Determine the exact application rate by carrying out a test application on the surface.

Storage

Store the container tightly sealed, out of the reach of children, and in a cool place, but away from frost.

Notes

Do not use when the object or ambient temperature is below +5 °C. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with water. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Dried-out material residues may be disposed of as household waste or as construction site waste. Dispose of liquid residues in accordance with EWC waste code 08 01 12. Do not allow the product to enter the sewerage system, watercourses or the ground.
