Area of application
White primer for living areas, basements and façades: strengthens surfaces, regulates absorbency and creates the ideal base for paintwork.
Preparation
Suitable for use on all mineral substrates (such as concrete, gypsum, lime and cement render), plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard, cement fibreboard and similar drywall panels, as well as emulsion, silicone resin and silicate paints, synthetic resin plasters, non-ferrous metals and many plastics (carry out a test coat on non-ferrous metals and plastics). The substrate must be dry, sound and free from
separating agents (dust, grease, etc.). Remove loose material, old wallpaper and poorly adhering coatings from the substrate. Prime highly absorbent, sandy and chalky substrates with profimur Deep Primer LF. Repair cracks, holes and uneven areas indoors using a suitable profimur filler.
Processing
Stir profimur white primer thoroughly before use and apply with a paintbrush, roller or a suitable spray gun. Ready for topcoating after approx. 6 hours (depending on the absorbency of the substrate, temperature and humidity – drying time may be longer under unfavourable environmental conditions).
Tinting:
The white primer can be tinted with a maximum of 5% tinting concentrate. The addition of solid colours and tinting paints is possible, but may alter the product’s properties.
Consumption
Approx. 100–130 ml/m² per coat – depending on the substrate and application method. Determine the exact application rate by carrying out a test application on the surface.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed, childproof and store in a cool but frost-free place.
Notes
Do not use if the object or ambient temperature is below +5 °C. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with water. Warning! Spraying may produce hazardous respirable droplets. Do not inhale the aerosol or mist. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Do not allow the product to enter the drains, watercourses or the ground.
