Roof and Plinth Paint

Highly opaque and very economical synthetic dispersion paint for long-lasting, lightfast coatings. Suitable for render, masonry, fibre cement roofs, roof tiles and sound old coatings. The paint impresses with its even flow, good adhesion and high weather resistance. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use and perfect for permanently well-maintained, colour-stable surfaces.

Area of application

Suitable for coating roof tiles, fibre cement roofs (e.g. Eternit), render, concrete, masonry and similar mineral substrates.

Preparation

The substrate must be dry, clean, stable and free of dust and grease. If necessary, clean the surface. Use as roof paint: Pre-treat the surface with a quality deep penetrating primer. Only apply the roof and skirting paint once the primer is completely dry (12 - 24 hours depending on the ambient temperature and humidity). Use as skirting paint: An important prerequisite for the durability of the paint is that the skirting is protected against moisture from the ground. Prime highly absorbent and sanding substrates with a quality primer.

Processing

Stir the paint well before use and apply with a roller, brush or using the airless method. The paint can be thinned with approx. 5 % water for the base coat. After the first coat has dried, apply the paint once or twice undiluted as required.

Consumption

1 litre is sufficient for approx. 6 m² with a single coat - depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate.

Storage

Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool but frost-free place.

Notes

For larger areas, ensure that the batches are identical. Mix different batches together. Do not apply below + 5 °C substrate and room temperature. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. EU VOC limit value for this product: (Cat.: A/c, Wb) = 40 g/l (2010). VOC content of this product max.: 1 g/l.
