Metallic Effect Concentrates

Area of application

Versatile concentrate for transparent or lightly pigmented paint systems. Not suitable for opaque coatings.

Preparation

The substrate must be dry, stable and free of dust and grease. Repair holes and cracks. Prime highly absorbent, sanding or chalking substrates.

Processing

Shake container well before use. The following maximum addition quantities must be observed for the different paint systems: Emulsion paints: max. 10% Acrylic paints: max. 5% Alkyd resin paints: max. 5% Glazes: max. 5%

Storage

Keep the tube tightly closed and store in a cool, frost-free place. Keep out of the reach of children.

Notes

Do not apply below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use. With white or coloured paint systems, the metallic effect may be masked by the pigments they contain. In the case of highly alkaline materials, the colour silver may form bubbles due to the development of hydrogen. Incompatibility may occur with water-sensitive materials. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Dried material residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste.
