Area of application
Water-based tile paint for ceramic wall tiles indoors - satin matt, without primer, ideal for bathrooms and kitchens.
Preparation
The tiles must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease. Clean the tiles thoroughly with baufan Multi-Clean. Soap, limescale and silicone residues must be removed. Repair damaged joints or dowel holes with baufan Tile and Joint Repair and allow to dry thoroughly before further treatment. Mask off neighbouring surfaces such as floors and sanitary objects.
Processing
Apply the tile lacquer two to three times with a short-pile lacquer roller with intermediate drying. Remove the adhesive tape immediately after applying the lacquer. The lacquer is touch dry after approx. 60 minutes and can be painted over after 4-6 hours - the drying time may be longer in unfavourable ambient conditions (e.g. low temperature or high humidity). For coloured coatings, the tile paint can be tinted with up to 10 ml of decomix universal tinting concentrate per 750 ml can.
Consumption
approx. 100 ml/m². The content is sufficient for approx. 7.5 m² for a single coat and approx. 3.75 m² for two coats.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool, frost-free place out of the reach of children.
Notes
The lacquered surface can be cleaned with standard mild household cleaners (do not use abrasive cleaners). Not suitable for wet room areas. Observe the technical data sheet. Do not apply below +8 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Hazardous respirable droplets may be produced when spraying. Do not inhale aerosol or mist. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Dried material residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. Dispose of uncured residues according to EWC waste code no. 08 01 11. EU VOC limit value for this product (Cat.: A/i, Wb) = 140 g/l. VOC content of this product max. 140 g/l.
