Area of application

Painter's renovation fleece and smooth fleece for the renovation of wall coatings, crack bridging and substrate preparation for wallpapering and painting work.

Preparation

The substrate must be dry, clean and sound. Remove old wallpaper and non-adherent paints. Pre-treat highly absorbent and chalking substrates with a deep penetrating primer. Smooth rough substrates with levelling compounds.

Processing

1. fabric adhesive GF, glass fabric and fleece adhesive GK or wall covering adhesive is recommended for bonding. Coat the wall with the width of a sheet and embed the fleece without soaking time. Press down with a suitable tool. To level out uneven surfaces, we recommend applying polystyrene adhesive or Akkord-Spachtel AS5 to the substrate using a C1 notched trowel. Then embed the fleece in it and press down.
