Multi-fluid Olafirn MF

Isolating concentrate for the safe neutralisation of alkaline substrates containing lime and cement. Reduces excess alkalinity, prevents efflorescence and ensures an even, adhesive base for subsequent coatings. Ideal for substrate pre-treatment.

Area of application

OLAFIRN neutralises and compacts lime and cementitious substrates, prevents efflorescence and stains and isolates water marks and soot.

Preparation

Fresh plaster and concrete must be completely set before treatment with OLAFIRN. Do not fluoridate fresh plaster for 14 days. Remove any loose particles from the substrate.

Processing

Dilute OLAFIRN with water in a ratio of 1:4 and apply the solution twice to the surface using a brush. Containers and tools must be acid-resistant and should be cleaned with water immediately after use. After drying, rinse the treated surfaces again with water. Protect non-acid-resistant materials (e.g. marble, glass, tiles, etc.) from splashes and, if necessary, rinse immediately with water.

Consumption

1 litre is sufficient for approx. 10-12 m² when applied twice

Storage

Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least until: see batch label.

Processing temperature: at least + 5 °C for material and circulating air Waste code no. 060106 Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Material residues can be disposed of as a solution or dried according to waste code no. 170904 (mixed construction and demolition waste), according to waste code no. 060106 (other acids) or as household waste.
