Area of application
Environmentally friendly barn paint based on white lime hydrate. Antibacterial, mould-inhibiting, breathable and smudge-proof for a healthy indoor climate.
Preparation
For all mineral substrates such as lime and cementitious plasters, untreated wood and sound old coatings indoors. The substrate must be dry, clean, sound and free of dust and grease. Remove loose material such as poorly adhering coats of paint from the substrate. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Silicate Fixative. If in doubt, apply a test coat. Repair cracks, holes and unevenness with a suitable baufan levelling compound.
Processing
Stir well before use and apply with a roller, brush, paintbrush, flat brush or suitable spraying equipment. As a rule, one undiluted coat is sufficient. If necessary, a second coat can be applied after drying. Clean tools with clear water immediately after use. baufan Stable Paint can be recoated with the same material without any problems. Before applying other types of coating, the Stable Paint should always be washed off or brushed off. Drying time: approx. 5 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); under unfavourable conditions, the drying time is correspondingly longer.
Tinting: Up to max. 4% with universal tinting concentrates (LW oxide types). Notes on airless spray application: The stable paint must first be sieved without pressure (mesh size 0.5 mm) Machine filter: 30 mesh Spray angle: 40°-50° Nozzle: 0.025 - 0.027 Spray pressure: 120 - 180 bar
Consumption
Smooth surfaces/fine plaster grain → from 150 ml/m² Determine exact consumption quantity by test coating on the object.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least until: see batch label.

Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, circulating air and substrate Do not cover surfaces to be painted. Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Do not inhale spray mist. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. caution!
