Area of application
White, very hard-wearing emulsion paint with excellent hiding power for interior wall and ceiling surfaces.
Preparation
For all mineral substrates (such as concrete, masonry, levelling compounds, cement, gypsum and lime plaster), plasterboard and other drywall, firmly adhering emulsion paint coats as well as woodchip, glass fabric and other paintable wallpaper and wall coverings. The substrate must be dry, clean, sound, absorbent and free of dust and grease. Remove loose material, old wallpaper and poorly adhering paints from the substrate. Prime highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. Repair cracks, holes and unevenness with a suitable baufan levelling compound.
Processing
Stir well before use and apply with a roller, brush, paintbrush, flat brush or suitable spraying equipment. In most cases, a single, saturated and even coat is sufficient. A primer coat may be necessary for unevenly absorbent and high-contrast substrates. As a primer, the paint can be diluted with max. 5 % water; as a top coat, apply undiluted after the first coat of paint has dried through. When coating larger areas, work wet-on-wet to avoid build-up. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Drying time: approx. 5 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); longer drying time under unfavourable conditions. Tinting: With max. 10% universal tinting concentrates or full tone and tinting paint. Notes on airless spray application: Spray angle: 50° Nozzle: 0.023 - 0.027 Spray pressure: 120 - 180 bar
Consumption
Smooth surfaces/fine plaster grain → from 125 ml/m² Determine exact consumption quantity by applying a test coat to the object.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least until: see batch label.
Notes
Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, circulating air and substrate Do not cover surfaces to be painted. Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Do not inhale spray mist. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Hazardous respirable droplets may be produced when spraying. Do not inhale aerosol or mist. Use combination filter A2/P2 when spraying.
