Area of application
Cell glue for gluing heavy wallpaper.
Preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and free of separating agents (dust, grease, etc.). Remove old wallpaper with baufan wallpaper stripper or baufan woodchip stripper. Repair cracks, holes and uneven surfaces with baufan interior filler. Prime sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. Pre-paste highly absorbent substrates (1:40 ratio) or pre-treat with baufan Deep Penetrating Primer LF.
Processing
Mixing ratio: Pre-pasting: Mix 1:40 = 8.0 litres of water = 60-80 m² Heavy wallpapers: Mix 1:20 = 4.0 litres of water = 20-25 m² Sprinkle the contents of the pack quickly and rapidly into cold water while stirring vigorously and continue stirring for a short time. After approx. 30 minutes, stir the mixture again vigorously. Coat the wallpaper evenly, fold and leave to soak. After the recommended soaking time, apply the wallpaper butt-jointed and press it down evenly and bubble-free.
Storage
Store in a childproof, cool and dry place.
Notes
Always follow the wallpaper manufacturer's instructions for use. Free from preservatives, so the mixed paste should be applied soon. Remove any paste residue on the front of the wallpaper immediately with a damp cloth. Do not process below +5 °C object and room temperature. To further increase the adhesive strength and for slightly absorbent substrates, we recommend adding 20 % baufan wallcovering adhesive, which is stirred into the ready-mixed cell glue. Material residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. EWC waste code no. 08 04 10.
