Area of application
Non-woven wallpaper paste for non-woven wallpapers and dimensionally stable wall coverings. Ideal for clean wall adhesion, easy to apply and securely adhesive. For living spaces.
Preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean, sound, level, evenly absorbent and free of dust and grease. Remove old wallpaper and poorly adhering paint. Cracks. Repair holes and unevenness with baufan interior filler. Prime highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. If translucent non-woven wallpapers are to be applied to substrates of uneven colour, we recommend priming with baufan Wallpaper Primer White.
Processing
Wall pasting technique (application to the substrate): As non-woven wallpapers do not require a soaking time, they can be applied quickly and easily using the wall pasting technique. To do this, apply the paste evenly to the substrate on a short-pile roller in the width of 1 - 2 wallpaper panels. Place the wallpaper sheet in the fresh paste bed and press down evenly and bubble-free. The "open time" of the paste is approx. 10 to 15 minutes and refers to approx. +20°C object and room temperature, on moderately absorbent substrates at 50 to 70% relative humidity. Application to the wallpaper: Spread the wallpaper evenly with a paste brush and apply butt joints according to the manufacturer's instructions. Immediately remove any excess adhesive from the joints with a clean, damp cloth. Paintable wall coverings may only be painted over after the adhesive has completely dried. Clean tools with water after use. The wallpaper manufacturer's instructions must be observed. Drying time: approx. 24 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); longer drying time under unfavourable conditions.
Consumption
approx. 200g/m² content is sufficient for approx. 5 Euro rolls = approx. 25 m² (Euro roll = approx. 10.05 m x 0.53 m)
