Area of application
For pasting all types of wallpaper, including woodchip, embossed, vinyl, photo and special wallpapers.
Preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, sound, absorbent, smooth and free from release agents. Remove old wallpaper with baufan wallpaper stripper or baufan woodchip stripper. Repair cracks, holes and uneven surfaces with baufan interior filler. Prime sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. Pre-paste highly absorbent substrates (1:40 ratio) or pre-treat with baufan Deep Penetrating Primer.
Processing
Mixing ratio: Pre-pasting: Mix 1:40 = 8.0 litres of water = 60-80 m² Rough wallpaper/heavy wallpaper: Mix 1:20 = 4.0 litres of water = 22-26 m² Special wallpapers/unprinted embossed wallpapers: Mix 1:15 = 3.0 litres of water = 10-15 m² Sprinkle the contents of the pack quickly and rapidly into cold water while stirring vigorously and continue stirring for a short time. After approx. 30 minutes, stir the mixture again vigorously. Paste the wallpaper evenly, fold and leave to soak. After the recommended soaking time, apply the wallpaper butt-jointed and press down evenly and bubble-free using a wallpapering brush, roller or spatula. Follow the wallpaper manufacturer's instructions. Clean tools with clear water after use. To increase moisture resistance, for slightly absorbent substrates and for very heavy wallpapers, we recommend adding one tin (750g) of baufan wallcovering adhesive to one pack of special paste, which is stirred into the ready-mixed paste.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed and store in a dry place. If unopened and stored properly, the product will keep for at least 48 months. Date of manufacture: see batch label.
Notes
Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, ambient air and substrate Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during processing and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking during use. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling.
