Area of application
Paste for glass fibre fabric, non-woven, woodchip and heavy vinyl or textile wall coverings. For secure, permanent bonding indoors. Ideal.
Preparation
The substrate must be dry, stable, even, evenly absorbent and free of dust and grease. Remove old wallpaper and poorly adhering paint. Repair cracks, holes and unevenness with baufan interior filler. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates and sanded surfaces with baufan Deep Penetrating Primer LF.
Processing
Mixing ratio: Pre-pasting: Mix 1:20 = 10 litres of water = approx. 70 m² Woodchip: Mix 1:11 = 5.5 litres of water = approx. 30 m² Renovation and reinforcement fleece, embossed fleece, non-woven woodchip, textile wallpaper, heavy wall coverings: Mix 1:10 = 5 litres of water = approx. 25 m² Glass fabric: Mix 1:8 = 4 litres of water = approx. 22.5 m² Sprinkle the contents of the pack quickly and rapidly into cold water while stirring vigorously and continue stirring for a short time. After approx. 15 minutes, stir the mixture again vigorously. Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate with a short-pile roller or brush in the width of the sheet. Lay the cut-to-size sheet into the fresh adhesive bed and press down evenly and bubble-free. The processing instructions of the wallpaper or covering manufacturer must be observed. If instructed to do so by the manufacturer, apply the adhesive directly to the wall covering and bond it after the prescribed soaking time. Do not paint over the wall covering with emulsion paint until the adhesive is completely dry.
Storage
Store in a childproof, cool and dry place.
Notes
Do not process below +5 °C. Remove adhesive residues immediately with water. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Dried material residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. EWC waste code no. 08 04 14.
