Area of application

Levelling compound for uneven walls & ceilings: fills cracks and holes, bonds rigid foam boards and adheres to concrete, plaster, glass, plastic and metal.

Preparation

All substrates must be clean, dry, level, sound, absorbent and free of separating agents. Use baufan Deep Penetrating Primer LF to increase the strength. Substrates that cannot be consolidated or do not adhere sufficiently must be completely removed. If in doubt, carry out a test application.

Processing

1. Slowly sprinkle baufan Innenspachtel into clear water in a clean mixing vessel while stirring until a paste-like and lump-free mixture is obtained. Mixing ratio for 1.0 kg baufan Innenspachtel: Bonding, dowelling, filling - approx. 0.5 to 0.6 litres of water Smoothing, filling - approx. 0.6 to 0.7 litres of water 2. After mixing, leave to mature for approx. 1 minute and stir again. Do not subsequently dilute the prepared material! 3. apply with a spatula, trowel, etc. in any layer thickness. 4. clean tools with clear water immediately after use. Prime the entire surface of walls and ceilings before painting over in order to achieve a shadow-free surface appearance. Drying time: The drying time depends on the application temperature. Relative humidity above 90%, especially in conjunction with low temperatures, can significantly affect the drying time and quality properties. Can be applied: up to approx. 1 hour Hardening: approx. 2 hours Can be recoated: after approx. 1 day

Consumption

per mm layer thickness -> approx. 0.7 kg/m²
