Fine Filler

Area of application

Filler for levelling out minor unevenness in interior areas. After sanding, ideal substrate ready for painting.

Preparation

For substrates such as plaster, concrete and plasterboard. Can also be used on natural wood, chipboard, plywood, blockboard, etc. The substrate must be dry, clean, stable and free of dust and grease. Remove loose material, old wallpaper and poorly adhering paints from the substrate. Prime highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. If in doubt, carry out a test application.

Processing

Knead the tube well before use! Apply with a spatula or trowel or directly from the tube. The filler dries without cracking up to a layer thickness of 3 mm. For thicker coats, apply several coats after the previous coat has dried. Clean tools with water immediately after use. After drying, the filler can be easily sanded. Drying time: approx. 1-2 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); longer drying time under unfavourable conditions.

per mm layer thickness → approx. 1.8 kg/m²

Storage

Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least 48 months from date of manufacture (see batch label).

Notes

Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, ambient air and substrate Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the filler. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling.
