Area of application
Damp room filler for facades, bathrooms and kitchens for smoothing walls and ceilings. Adheres to plaster, concrete and plasterboard, ideal for mineral surfaces.
Preparation
The substrate must be dry, sound and free of separating agents (dust, formwork oil, etc.). Remove poorly adhering coats of paint and loose plaster. Pre-fill deep holes in exterior areas with baufan exterior filler. Highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates must be primed with baufan Deep Primer LF.
Processing
Knead the tube well before use. Apply baufan Facade and Damp Room Filler with a smoothing trowel to a maximum layer thickness of 5 mm. Uneven areas can be smoothed or felted with a damp cloth. Do not apply subsequent coats of paint or bonding until the levelled surface is completely dry. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Drying time: approx. 4 - 7 hours depending on application thickness, substrate and temperature

per mm application thickness --> approx. 1.7 kg/m²
Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least 48 months from date of manufacture (see batch label).
Notes
Processing temperature: at least + 5 °C for material and circulating air The drying time depends on the processing temperature. Relative humidity above 90%, especially in combination with low temperatures, can significantly affect the drying time and quality properties. Product code M-DF02 Waste code no. 080410 (waste adhesives and sealants). Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Dried material residues can be disposed of according to waste code no. 170904 (mixed construction and demolition waste) or as household waste.
