Tile and Surface Filler

Fine, plastic-reinforced levelling compound for repairing, smoothing and levelling interior wall and ceiling surfaces. Impresses with optimum adhesion even on difficult substrates such as tiles, concrete or plasterboard. Easy to apply, very easy to sand and also suitable for damp rooms. Area of application

Tile and surface filler for indoors and damp rooms. Adheres to tiles, concrete and plaster, ideal for smoothing, filling and grouting, easy to sand. In the bathroom.

Preparation

The substrate must be dry, sound, clean and free of dust and grease. Remove loose parts, poorly adhering paints and elastic coatings. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. Thoroughly clean and degrease tiles and other non-absorbent substrates.

Processing

Mixing: Sprinkle 2 parts of baufan Tile and Surface Filler into 1 part of clean, cold water and stir until a lump-free mixture is obtained (mixing ratio: 1 kg powder + 500 ml water). The prepared levelling compound remains workable for approx. 40 minutes. Apply baufan tile and surface levelling compound with a spatula or smoothing trowel (layer thickness from 0 to 20 mm). The levelling compound is easy to smooth and felt and can be sanded very well after drying if necessary. After sanding, it is necessary to treat the sanded areas with baufan Deep Primer LF.

1 kg powder per 1 m² at 1 mm application thickness

Notes

Do not apply below +5 °C object and room temperature. Clean tools with water after use. Take into account the varying absorbency and alkalinity when carrying out repair work. The instructions of the paint and adhesive manufacturers for the pre-treatment of cementitious substrates must be observed. Not suitable for exposure to permanent moisture. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Cured material residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. Waste code no. EWC 06 02 99.
