Deeply Penetrating Primer – solvent-free

Area of application

baufan Tiefgrund LF is a special primer with a high penetration depth for consolidating sanding and chalking substrates and for reducing absorbency.

Preparation

Suitable for all mineral substrates such as concrete, plaster, brick, etc. and for plasterboard. The substrate must be clean, dry, absorbent and free of release agents. Substrates that cannot be consolidated or do not adhere sufficiently must be completely removed. If in doubt, create a test surface.

Processing

Coordinate the primer with the subsequent product. To regulate the absorbency, baufan Tiefgrund LF can be diluted with water up to 1:1. Shake or stir well before use and apply with a brush, paintbrush or suitable spraying equipment. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Cover surfaces not to be treated beforehand, as dried splashes are difficult to remove later. Drying time: approx. 6 - 8 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); longer drying time under unfavourable conditions.

Consumption

1 litre = approx. 10 m² for undiluted coating Determine the exact consumption quantity by applying a test coat to the object.

Storage

Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least 24 months from date of manufacture (see batch label).

Notes

Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, ambient air and substrate Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Do not inhale spray mist. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. Wear safety goggles. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling.
