Area of application
Primer for interior and exterior use: creates the optimum base for dispersion, silicone resin and dispersion silicate paints.
Preparation
For all mineral substrates, plasterboard and drywall, renovation fleece, emulsion, silicone resin and silicate paints, synthetic resin plasters, non-ferrous metals and many plastics (apply a test coat for non-ferrous metals and plastics). The substrate must be firm, dry, sound, clean and free of separating agents. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with baufan Deep Primer LF. Remove substrates that cannot be consolidated and have poor adhesion. If in doubt, apply a test coat.
Processing
Stir well before use and apply with a roller, brush, paintbrush, flat brush or suitable spraying equipment. Drying time: approx. 6 - 8 hours under normal conditions (20 °C, 65 % relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate) - longer drying time under unfavourable conditions. Tinting: With max. 10 % universal tinting concentrates. Notes on airless spray application: Spray angle: 50° Nozzle: 0.023 - 0.027 Spray pressure: 120 - 180 bar
Consumption
from 100 - 130 ml/m² per coat on a smooth substrate. Determine the exact consumption quantity by trial application on the object.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool, frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least until: see batch label.
Notes
Processing temperature for material, circulating air and substrate not below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Keep out of reach of children. Caution! Hazardous respirable droplets may be produced when spraying. Do not inhale aerosol or mist. Use combination filter A2/P2 when spraying. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil.
