Area of application
Solupast D removes floor covering residues, adhesive residues and paint stains quickly and safely - ideal for tools, brushes and renovations.
Processing
Floor covering and adhesive residues: Apply Solupast D generously with a solvent-resistant brush or roller and allow to react for 15 - 60 minutes, depending on the adhesive. Remove the dissolved adhesive layer with a spatula. Repeat the process if necessary. Wash the surface thoroughly with water and detergent if necessary and allow to dry completely. Dried paint and varnish stains: Allow Solupast D to work for approx. 10 - 30 minutes and rub the stain with a cloth to dissolve it. Rinse thoroughly with water. Cleaning: Soak hard natural hair brushes in Solupast D in a glass or metal container and rinse after sufficient exposure time. Place smaller metal parts in Solupast D, coat larger metal parts and also rinse with water.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed, childproof and store in a cool but frost-free place.
Notes
Solupast D is evaporation-delayed, therefore long exposure times are possible without repeated application. Solupast D is a thixotropic gel and can also be applied to vertical surfaces. Non-solvent-resistant plastics and mastic asphalt may be attacked. Test surface compatibility in an inconspicuous area before application. Do not use Solupast D on absorbent substrates (e.g. cement screed). Treat larger areas in sections of max. 0.5 m², ensuring good air circulation. Before subsequent work or laying new floor coverings, allow the substrate to dry completely and ventilate the room well. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Dried material residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. EWC waste code no. 08 04 12.
