Sports Pitch Marking

Area of application

Line marking paint for sports fields, natural turf and hard pitches. Very good adhesion on dry grass and clear visibility even in the rain.

Preparation

For natural grass surfaces, sports fields and hard courts (tennis courts). The surfaces to be sprayed must be dry.

Processing

Do not mix baufan Sportplatzmarkierung KONZENTRAT with other colours. Stir well before use. Mix carefully with the desired amount of water. baufan Sports Field Marking CONCENTRATE can be diluted with up to 5 parts water. The less water, the higher the luminosity of the colour. Please determine the most favourable mixing ratio by trial marking. Application is carried out with appropriate marking equipment using the pressure spraying method. Thinned product must be applied quickly, as sedimentation is possible. Clean marking trolley/spray nozzle carefully with clear water immediately after use (spray until water is clear). Mixing ratio: Recommended: - First marking: 1 : 3 - Second marking: 1 : 5 Drying time: approx. 2-5 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); in unfavourable conditions correspondingly longer drying time. Tinting: If necessary, can be tinted with suitable dispersion, solid and tinting paints (solvent-free) up to max. 5%.

Consumption

per square undiluted → approx. 1.2 - 1.8 litres (empirical values for 10 cm width) Decisive for the consumption are the condition of the floor, the mixing ratio and the working method of the user.

Storage

Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least until: see batch label.

Processing temperature: +5 °C for material, circulating air and substrate Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Do not inhale spray mist. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while using the paint. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, waterways or soil. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. caution! Hazardous respirable droplets may be produced when spraying. Do not inhale aerosol or mist. Use combination filter A2/P2 when spraying.
