Area of application
White lime paint for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms: moisture-regulating, vapour-permeable and ideal for a healthy indoor climate.
Preparation
Suitable for use on mineral substrates (such as lime and cement plaster, etc.) as well as on painted surfaces. The substrate must be firm, dry, sound, alkali-resistant, and free from dust and grease. Prime highly absorbent, sandy and chalky substrates, as well as sanded surfaces, with a silicate fixative.
Processing
Stir profimur lime paint thoroughly before use and apply with a paintbrush, roller or a suitable spray gun. Apply undiluted for a single coat. For two coats, the first coat may be diluted with up to 5 per cent water. Drying time: at least 8 hours (depending on ambient conditions).
Airless spraying recommendation:
Before application, dilute with up to 10 per cent water and strain without pressure (nozzle size 0.5 mm).
Nozzle: 519 – 527; spray pressure: 120 – 170 bar
Consumption
Approx. 150 ml/m² per coat – depending on the substrate and application method. Determine the exact consumption by carrying out a test application on the surface.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed, childproof and store in a cool but frost-free place.
Notes
Protect surfaces not to be painted (such as glass, wood, etc.) from splashes and spray mist. Do not apply when the surface and ambient temperatures are below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Dried-out material residues may be disposed of as household waste or as construction site waste. Dispose of liquid residues in accordance with EWC code 08 01 12. Do not allow the product to enter the sewerage system, watercourses or the ground.
