Area of application
FIXcolor solid colours and tinting paints for facades and living spaces - for tinting emulsion, latex, wall and ceiling paints.
Preparation
The substrate must be sound, dry, absorbent and free of separating agents (dust, grease, etc.). Remove poorly adhering paint and wallpaper. Fill cracks, holes and unevenness. Prime highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates with decotric Deep Primer LF.
Processing
Apply with a brush, roller or suitable spraying equipment. For the base coat, the paint can be thinned with max. 10 % water. After the base coat has dried through, apply the top coat undiluted or with max. 5 % water added. At + 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity, the drying time is approx. 12 hours. At lower temperatures and/or higher humidity, the drying time is correspondingly longer. The colour shades marked with an * are only to be used for exterior coatings in full tone. These include the following colour shades: 907, 908, 909, 915, 923, 924, 935, 947, 940 and 946. Use as a tinting paint: For tinting emulsion and latex paints, synthetic resin plasters and similar water-based materials. The colours marked with an S are suitable for tinting silicate paints (max. addition of 10 %). These include the following colour shades 901, 902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 937 and 945. Consumption
Approx. 150 - 200 ml/m² for a single coat - depending on the condition of the substrate. Determine the exact amount used by trial application on the object.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place.
Notes
Mix different batch numbers together before use. Colour deviations may occur depending on the dispersion and substrate used. Do not apply below + 5 °C object and ambient temperature. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. Do not inhale spray mist when spraying. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. EU VOC limit value for this product (Cat.: A/a, Wb) = 30 g/l (2010). VOC content of this product max.: 1 g/l.
