Area of application
2-component lacquer system for bathtubs, shower trays, washbasins, wall tiles and kitchen fronts made of plastic - high-gloss, extremely durable.
Preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease. Remove all soap residues, dirt, limescale and silicone residues - e.g. with leaching agent and degreaser or silicone remover. Roughen the entire surface with sandpaper (1st sanding pass with P120 grit, 2nd sanding pass with P320 grit) and remove all sanding dust. Mask off surfaces that are not to be coated. The substrate temperature should be +22 to +25 °C.
Processing
Store the paint components at a temperature of +22 °C for at least 24 hours before use. Pour the contents of the hardener bottle completely into the paint can, stir the mixture thoroughly for at least 2 minutes with a stirring stick and pour into a paint tray. Process the mixed paint within 50 minutes. Pre-coat hard-to-reach areas - such as curves and edges - with a brush. Quickly apply the paint to the surface with a brush and roughly blend. Immediately spread the paint with a roller in a longitudinal and transverse direction, rolling it out thinly and evenly to avoid the formation of runs and drips. Finally, roll the surface with the roller in one direction to achieve the most even surface possible. The coating is dust-resistant after approx. 5 hours. For the next five days, keep the room temperature constant and avoid exposure to water. Tinting: For coloured coatings on tiles or kitchen fronts, the paint can be tinted with the specified universal tinting concentrates. Do not tint the paint for coating bathtubs and shower trays.
Consumption
The content is sufficient for approx. 2.8 m².
Storage
Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool, frost-free place out of the reach of children.
