Preparation
baufan Wasser-Dicht adheres to all common materials used in the construction sector, such as bitumen, roof tiles, roofing felt, aluminium, copper, zinc, concrete, bricks, tiles, wood, etc. The substrate must be stable and free of separating agents. Remove dirt, loose masonry, moss and other vegetation mechanically. Non-load-bearing substrates - such as sanding, crumbly plaster - must be consolidated with baufan Deep Primer LF.
Processing
baufan Wasser-Dicht is ready to use and must not be diluted. It can be applied with a brush or a trowel. During application, care must be taken to ensure that the surface is sealed and that a minimum layer thickness of 2 mm is achieved. If applied to a damp substrate or in poor weather conditions (low temperatures, rain, etc.), a second coat must be applied after one week at the latest. Recoating with acrylic paints is possible after 24 hours. Clean tools after use. Drying time: approx. 24 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); relative humidity above 90%, especially in conjunction with low temperatures, can significantly affect the drying time and quality properties.

Storage
Keep container tightly closed in a cool but frost-free place. If unopened and stored properly, shelf life is at least 48 months from date of manufacture (see batch label).

Processing temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C for material, ambient air and substrate Wear protective gloves/eye protection. IF IN CONTACT WITH SKIN (or hair): Remove all contaminated clothing immediately. Wash/shower skin with plenty of water. IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep container tightly closed in a well-ventilated place. Dispose of contents/container to hazardous or special waste collection point in accordance with local/regional/national regulations. Contains: Naphtha (petroleum) ADR/GGVSE: UN 1866, 640E, Class: 3, Cl.-Code: F1, Verp.-Gr.: III; LQ7 Product is not subject to ADR, as it has a flash point above 23°C, is transported in containers smaller than 450 litres and has a transit time of more than 40 seconds (section 2.2.3.1.5.).
