Wall Paint wash-proof

Area of application

White emulsion paint for interior surfaces.

Preparation

For all mineral substrates (such as concrete, masonry, levelling compounds, cement, gypsum and lime plaster), plasterboard and other drywall panels, firmly adhering emulsion paint finishes, as well as woodchip wallpaper and other paintable wallpapers and wall coverings. The surface must be dry, clean, sound, and free from dust and grease. Remove loose material, old wallpaper and poorly adhering paint from the surface. Prime highly absorbent, sandy and chalky surfaces with baufan Tiefgrund LF. Fill cracks, holes and uneven areas with a suitable baufan filler.

Processing

Stir well before use and apply with a roller, brush, paintbrush, flat brush or suitable spray gun. For the primer coat, the paint may be thinned with a maximum of 5 per cent water. The top coat should be applied undiluted once the first coat has dried thoroughly. When coating larger areas, work wet-on-wet to avoid brush marks. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Drying time:
approx. 5 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% rel. humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); drying time will be correspondingly longer under unfavourable conditions.

Tinting:
With a maximum of 10% universal tinting concentrates or solid-colour and tinting paint.

Spray angle: 50°
Nozzle: 0.023 – 0.027
Spray pressure: 120 – 180 bar

Consumption

Smooth surfaces/fine-grained plaster → from 150 ml/m²
Determine the exact consumption by carrying out a test application on the surface.

Storage

Store the container tightly sealed in a cool place, but away from frost.

Notes

Application temperature:
+5 °C to +30 °C for the product, ambient air and substrate

Keep out of the reach of children. Cover surfaces not to be painted. When spraying, use a combination filter A2/P2. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking whilst using the paint. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. In case of contact with the eyes or skin, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Do not allow the product to enter the sewer system, watercourses or the ground.

EU VOC limit value for this product (Cat.: A/a, Wb) = 30 g/l (2010). Maximum VOC content of this product: 1 g/l.

Disposal:
Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Dried-out material residues may be disposed of as household waste or as construction site waste. Dispose of liquid residues in accordance with waste code 08 01 12.
