Siloxane-Star Facade Paint
A very white façade coating with high opacity, suitable for both new builds and renovation projects. Ideal as a renovation paint for external thermal insulation composite systems. Thanks to its long-lasting film protection, the coating is resistant to algae and green deposits. This façade paint is characterised by its high water vapour permeability and, as a driving-rain-resistant coating, offers reliable and long-lasting weather protection and maintains the façade’s neat appearance.

Area of application
White façade paint for water-vapour-permeable and driving-rain-resistant coatings, offering long-lasting film protection against algae and green deposits.Preparation
Suitable for all mineral substrates (such as plaster, concrete and masonry), synthetic resin plasters, and firmly adhering existing coatings of silicone resin, emulsion silicate and emulsion paints. The substrate must be clean, sound, dry, stable and free from dust and grease. Remove any old paint that is not firmly adhering and any loose plaster. Remove any existing green growth using baufan Algae and Mould STOP. Pre-treat sandy, chalky and highly absorbent substrates with baufan Tiefgrund LF. Properly float new plaster to prevent efflorescence. Repair cracks, holes and uneven areas with a suitable baufan filler.Processing
Stir well before use and apply with a roller, brush, paintbrush, flat brush or suitable spray gun. For the primer coat, the paint may be diluted with a maximum of 5 per cent water; for the top coat, apply undiluted once the first coat has dried thoroughly. When coating larger areas, work wet-on-wet to avoid brush marks. Clean tools with water immediately after use.Drying time:
approx. 6–8 hours under normal conditions (+20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate); under unfavourable conditions, the drying time will be correspondingly longer.
Colour matching:
Use suitable universal tinting concentrates or solid-colour and tinting paints (up to a maximum of 10% by volume, without impairing the structural properties of the overall coating. It is essential to ensure lightfastness and weather resistance.)

Keep out of the reach of children. Use an A2/P2 combination filter when spraying. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking whilst using the paint. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. In case of contact with the eyes or skin, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Do not allow the product to enter the sewerage system, watercourses or the ground.
EU VOC limit value for this product (Cat.: A/c, Wb) = 40 g/l (2010). Maximum VOC content of this product: 1 g/l.
Disposal:
Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Dried-out material residues may be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. Dispose of liquid residues in accordance with waste code 08 01 12.
