Area of application
Glitter Effect for emulsion paints, varnishes, glazes, facade and silicate paints - for brilliant glitter effects indoors and outdoors.
Preparation
The substrate must be dry, stable and free of dust and grease. Repair cracks and holes. Prime highly absorbent, sanding and chalking substrates.
Processing
Mix 80 ml Glitter Effect in 2.5 litres of paint. The intensity can be increased with a higher dosage and depends on the gloss level, colour tone and quality of the selected base colour. The minimum dosage should not be less than 3 % and may not exceed 10 %. Preservative-free wall paints with a high pH value can impair the glitter effect after a few days when mixed, so wall paints with a high pH value should be used immediately after mixing. Do not use in products with a pH value greater than 11.4. Always stir well during painting so that the glitter remains well distributed. Use the colour as usual. The full glitter effect is only achieved after complete drying. To enhance the effect, carefully wipe over the completely dry surface with a damp cloth.
Consumption
The contents are sufficient for approx. 2.5 litres of paint.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool but frost-free place.
Notes
Use immediately after mixing, keep out of reach of children. The safety instructions for the base colour must be observed. Do not use below + 5 °C substrate and room temperature. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Dried paint residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. Waste code no. EWC 08 01 11.
